Formulated with Korean rice extracts (100,000 ppm) from Ganghwa Gyodong, this is a two in one formula containing a clay mask pack and a foam cleanser. Meaning this has a dual function and can be used in two ways – as a cleanser or as a mask. The clay mask helps to take care of sebum production + pore care and the foam cleanser provides a deep thorough cleanse.

What is in this?
Key Ingredients:
- Gyodong Rice extracts (Oryza Sativa Extract) – rich in antioxidants, help purify and smooth the skin, decrease the appearance of pores.
- Myristic acid – a saturated fatty acid that helps in making the skin appear hydrated, plump and more youthful.
- Centella Asiatica Extract, Oat Kernel Extract – anti-inflammatory, great for soothing the skin, preventing future blemishes, etc.
- Ficus Carica (Fig) Fruit Extract – enhances the skin’s hydration by preventing water loss from the skin’s uppermost layers.
How to use?
- As a foam cleanser – Take an appropriate amount to make enough foam, massage gently and rinse off with lukewarm water
- As a mask pack – Spread the product evenly over the face sparing the eye and mouth area, rinse off like a massage with lukewarm water after 1-2 minutes.
My Thoughts
The formulation of this mask reminds me of a mud pack (actually creamier than a mud pack) and it spreads smoothly like butter. Although being a clay mask, this does not crack while drying. The suggested time to leave this mask is for around 1~2 minutes and then rinse it off with water. This is when the fun begins – when washing off this mask it lathers and foams up really well making it perfect for a deep foam cleansing.
When using this as a normal cleanser, I use a lathering net. Trust me, using a lathering net is a huge game-changer to create a creamy foam. I then massage the creamy foam for a good 1 minute before rinsing. This cleanser reminds me of my favorite Softymo foam cleanser.
On both the occasion – when using it as a mask pack or as a cleanser my skin felt squeaky clean, bright and refreshed. Although I have dry skin, this 2 in 1 product did not dry me out. I followed this up with the sample version of their Rice Pure Essential Toner (which was so good) and the sample version of their Rice Pure Gel and Cream (this is such an innovative product containing both gel and cream) and my skin was GLOWING.
Conclusion
I am ready for summer as I have this 2 in 1 clay mask to foam cleanser with me. Hopefully, this will help me tackle any issues with pore care and excess sebum production. A winner product for me.
