I am a huge fan of the I’m From Honey mask and ever since they launched the Honey serum and the Honey cream duo from their Honey line-up, I had been wanting to try these beauties. I am pretty sure that this Honey cream will receive the same adoration as its predecessor.

I'm From Honey Glow Cream

I started using this when winter was reaching its peak here in Tokyo. Perfect timing as I had been searching for a last-step richer night cream to add to my skincare regime for a better lock-in effect. After using this for around two months, here on my thoughts on the Honey Glow Cream.

What is in this?

The I’m From Honey cream comes in a sturdy hexagonal glass jar that mimics the classical motif of a honeycomb, which I think is a pretty cool addition making this a visually appealing packaging. Curated with 30.63% of Honey Glow Queen (Honey Complex), which is the brand’s own unique mixture of 7 active ingredientshoney, black bee propolis, royal jelly, bee venom, turmeric, bee pollen, and cinnamon, this delivers intense moisture and rich nutrition to the skin. Being a nutritious cream, this also claims to improve the brightening effect, fine lines and the elasticity of the skin while also strengthening the skin barrier by balancing the water-oil ratio. This cream also contains another superstar ingredient – Niacinamide. So along with the previously stated benefits, this cream also provides the benefits of Niacinamide, i.e. brightening the skin tone, diminishing the appearance of enlarged pores, improving fine lines and dullness, etc.

My Thoughts

The texture of this has a mousse-type silky texture. When you scoop out the cream, the texture of this feels soft and velvety and it glides over the skin effortlessly. Despite the airy creamy texture, this feels extremely nourishing and moisturizing without feeling greasy, heavy or tacky. This does give me that suppleness and healthy glow. As I love layering my toners and serums (I have dry skin), this cream is ideal to lock-in all the goodness from the prior steps. It does have a mild scent which could probably be related to the added fragrance as mentioned in the ingredients but it fades away so it does not bother me.

Conclusion

This truly is one intense honey-rich nutrient cream that does not feel heavy or greasy. Just like its name, it gives that natural glow and plenty of moisture. I have dry skin and I am so glad to have incorporated this into my winter night-time skincare routine as it helps to lock in all the moisture and my skin has never felt this soft and supple. This would be great for all skin types, ideal for dry to combination skin and for oily skin, a little amount will do the job. This has been a great moisturizing cream for my night-time skincare routine.
