I have always been on a hunt for a good nourishing lip balm product that works more than a normal Vaseline lip balm and I think I have just found “the one“, the magical savior that has put my hunt to a halt.

I know many love the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, but it somehow just did not impress me. I shall include all my reasons in another post as this post is dedicated to Klavuu’s Lip sleeping pack.

Firstly can we stop and adore the beautiful pinky dusty mauve packaging this lip pack comes in. The packaging of this gives this an elegant subtle look which I am digging a lot. This is a soft balm that comes in a 20g glass jar and smells so good (a subtle vanilla scent). This is free of parabens. I was so surprised with the soft balm texture which did not feel heavy, waxy or sticky.

The biggest difference I found between the Laneige and Klavuu lip packs is that Klavuu’s one is less sticky. You know how pestering it can get to have your hair and everything getting stuck to your lips. I find Laneige’s one to be heavy and extremely sticky whereas the Klavuu’s one is not sticky at all. This surprising feels very lightweight on the lips and I wake up with softer, supple nourished lips in the morning. The major key point I noticed with this is that its effect lasted throughout the day and I didn’t have to reapply lip balm as much as I normally would do. For a change, I can say bye-bye to dry flaky lips.

I wish this came with a spatula just like the Laneige one but I’m okay with it as I am using the spatula from Laneige.

After being disappointed, I was starting to think that lip packs/masks are just another glorified version of Vaseline. I was still skeptical when I tried this. But this one has definitely won my heart.
